Sarah Soward is the co-author of the WordPress and Flash Cookbook.  Peter Spannagle handled the WordPress aspects of the book.  Sarah dealt with the Flash side. 

Flash has a number of implementation possibilities.  It's used for everything from games to forms to banner ads.  If you love code, ActionScript is excellent.  ActionScript 3.0 is the latest and greatest version of Flash's coding language. If code isn't quite your thing, check out Flash's timeline and Code Snippets.  You have options with Flash.
